The Walden Mountain Bike Club’s WolfPak Racing team wasted no time in stepping onto the podium as the team kicked off the Scott Ontario Cup XC Racing season at Ontario Cup #1 in Woodnewton.
Two WolfPak members stood on the podium when all was said and done.
Paul Guenette took second spot in the Senior Expert 19-29 male field in 1:36:38.
WolfPak newcomer Ian Sagle also showed good early season form by coming in second in the Master Expert 30-39 Male field in 1:35:38.
In the Cadet Sport 15-16 Male field, rookie Luukas Ovaska finished seventh with an impressive time of 53:59
The team will travel to the Hamilton area next weekend for the Paris to Ancaster endure event.
