This past weekend didn't go so well for the Sudbury Wolves.

On a three-game swing through Flint and Saginaw, Michigan, and Windsor, the team fell 4-2 Friday night to the Flint Firebirds, and 5-2 to the Saginaw Spirit on Friday, before visiting nearby Windsor for an afternoon tilt with the Spitfires.

The last game of a three-game road swing through the Western Conference capped off a weekend of woe for the team by making the woe that much woe-ier. Windsor was all over the Pack on yesterday afternoon, hammering the Wolves to a 7-1 loss.

Windsor scored late in the first to take the lead in the game. The Spitfires added two more in the second period to take a three-goal lead, while the Pack was still sitting on a goose egg.

The Wolves bench could only look on in dismay as Windsor added four more goals to its tally in the third period before the Pack got on the board with a rifle of a shot from Ryan Valentini that went top shelf on Spitfires netminder Mario Culina.

Windsor outshot the Wolves 35-23.

The Pack is back in action Wednesday when they take the short drive down Highway 17 to North Bay to battle the Battalion.

Game time is is 7 p.m.
