Wolves fans flock to arena on a sunny June evening

Team hosts fan appreciation event at Sudbury Arena

The Sudbury Wolves and SW Sports & Entertainment opened the doors to the Sudbury Arena on June 13 to invite their fans to come and hang out with team brass and new head coach Cory Stillman.

Tuesday evening was Sudbury Wolves fan appreciation night and handfuls of fans, young and old, gathered inside the arena to meet the new bench boss, enjoy some free activities and snacks, and find out a little about this upcoming Wolves season.

Fans were also introduced to the Sudbury Spartans, the Northern Football Conference team that Wolves owner Dario Zulich purchased in May

Andrew Dale, the Wolves' VP of marketing and development announced that all of the team's road games will be broadcast live on 96.7 CKLU this season.

"I know a lot of fans listen on the Sudbury Wolves app," said Dale.  "But we have a lot of fans out there who want to be able to hear the games on FM radio. Whether it's in their car, or at home."

Team mascot Howler was on hand to pose for pictures and newly appointed coach Cory Stillman and Zulich took some time towards the end of the evening for a quick question and answer period with the fans.
