The Sudbury Wolves return to the confines of the Sudbury Arena this weekend for double-header matchups against northern rivals as the North Bay Battalion and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds visit the Nickel City on Friday and Saturday this weekend.

The Wolves are returning home from a Western Conference road swing where they picked up one win and one loss against their opponents. The Wolves continue to lead the Central Division and have a fourpoint lead over the Mississauga Steelheads.

On Friday, Shane Bulitka and the North Bay Battalion travel down Highway 17 to visit the Wolves at 7:05 p.m. The Battalion are led up front by Brandon Coe who has 38 points in 40 games this season.

Friday’s game also marks the first game that Brad Chenier will get to face-off against his former team. Friday’s game is sponsored by Bell Let’s Talk in support of Mental Health Awareness. Bell Let’s Talk will be on-hand with prizes and giveaways for lucky fans. 

Come down early and don’t miss out on the special TGIF 3-2-1 offers between 6 – 6:30 p.m. with $3 tall boys, $2 hot dogs and $1 popcorn.

The Wolves and Greyhounds meet up in Sudbury for game five of the Bell Challenge Cup on Saturday. The Greyhounds are led up front by overage forward Zack Trott who has 42 points on the season through 41 games.

Saturday’s game is sponsored by Goodlife and it also Sudbury Saturday Night. Don’t miss country music on the MIC Queen Stage with Kassie Taylor. Deluxe Hamburgers on Regent Street will be on hand serving up their iconic chicken on a bun in the lower lobby as well as the club area in celebration of Sudbury Saturday Night. Game time is 7:05 p.m.

Prior to Friday’s game, the Wolves will travel to North Bay on Thursday to face-off against the Battalion at 7 pm. This will kick off the back to back series with the team before returning to Sudbury
on Friday.
