The Sudbury Wolves suffered a shut-out at the Sudbury Arena last night, in what would prove to be a challenging match-up against divisional rivals, the Barrie Colts.

The two teams appeared to be evenly matched, with both struggling to squeeze a shot past their opposing goaltenders despite considerable effort. After three periods and no goal by either team, the game was forced into an extra frame of three on three overtime.

Colts' Jason Willams broke the stalemate in overtime, beating Luukkonen to claim a 1-0 victory for Barrie. Both Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and the Colts' Jet Greaves had remarkable games, with Luukkonen making 28 out of 29 saves and Greaves earning the shutout with 37.

The Wolves are on the road this weekend, seeking revenge against the Barrie Colts tonight at 7:30 p.m. before facing-off against the Hamilton Bulldogs Sunday at 2 p.m.
