Hungry for a re-match following Friday night's shutout, the Sudbury Wolves travelled south Saturday for game two of the home and home matchup against the Barrie Colts.

The pack left it all on the ice in third, scoring three goals to secure a 6-4 final for Sudbury. Final shots on goal were 38-18 in favour of the Wolves.

The Wolves got off to a slow start in the first, allowing Luke Bignell to open up scoring for the Colts just under five minutes into play. Refusing to have a replay of last-night's shutout, the pack settled the score with a shot from the slot by Nolan Hutcheson.

Colts' Tyler Tucker quickly matched the goal to give Barrie a 2-1 lead heading into second, but he wasnt stopping there. Early into second, Tucker scored his second of the night off a pass by Ben Hawerchuck to give Barrie a 3-2 at the start of the period.

Following the Colts' third goal of the night, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen relieved Jonathan Lemaire from the crease to try his hand between the pipes. In the second, Wolves' Macauley Carson carried his shot around the circle and down through the slot to beat Jet Greaves to cut the Colts' lead to one.

Despite the substitution, Colts' Sam Rhodes was able to beat Luukkonen and boost Barrie's lead, but that didn't last long. Quinton Byfield ended the period 4-3 with a goal on the breakaway.

Hutcheson led the Wolves comeback in the third, tieing up the game with a rebound goal off of Ruzicka's shot. Not long after, Byfield notched his 25th of the season with a shot past Greaves' blocker side.

With two minutes left in play the Colts pulled Greaves for an extra attacker, but it was too little too late. Emmett Serensits seized the opportunity and secured a 6-4 final for the Sudbury Wolves.

The Wolves finished off their three-game weekend this afternoon against the Hamilton Bulldogs. Check back with Sudbury.com tomorrow for the full game report.
