The Sudbury Wolves return to action at home this Friday and Saturday at the Sudbury Arena.

The Wolves continue to lead the Central Division, six points up on the Niagara IceDogs and Barrie Colts. 

Friday, the Wolves will face their divisional rival Barrie Colts before the Windsor Spitfires make their one and only appearance of the season in the Nickel City Saturday. Puck drop for both games is set for 7:05 p.m.

With the Colts right on the Wolves tail, the Wolves will be looking for a big game at home. The Colts are led by forwards Tyson Foerster and Jason Willms who lead the Colts up front with 40 and 36 points respectively.

Friday’s game is sponsored by Palladino BMW who will be on hand with prizes for lucky fans. Friday also marks the first Bobblehead night. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Quinton Byfield Bobblehead. 

Visit the table in the main lobby with your valid ticket to receive your bobblehead. It’s TGIF Friday! 

Arrive early to take advantage of the special 3-2-1 offers between 6:00 and 6:30pm. $3 Tall Boys, $2 Hot Dogs and $1 Popcorn.

The Spitfires sit first in the Western Division with 42 points on the season. The Spitfires are led upfront by Columbus Bluejacket prospect Tyler Angle and Nashville Predators prospect Egor Afanasyev.

Saturday’s game is sponsored by United Steelworkers 6500 and 2020. The Wolves and Steelworkers willhonour Leo Girard prior to the game. It’s Sudbury Saturday night and fans can catch live country music on the MIC Queen Stage. 

D & A Meat prosciutto sandwiches will be available for sale in the club area while supplies last. Five lucky fans will have the chance to win $5,000 each in the second intermission Hockey Scoro Contest sponsored by United Link Insurance Brokers. 

The United Steelworkers 6500 and 2020 will also be on-hand with rally towels for the first 3,000 fans.

Prior to this weekend’s action, the Wolves will travel to North Bay today for a New Year’s Eve Matinee match-up with the Battalion at 1:00pm. Fans can tune into the live play-by-play on CKLU 96.7 or mixlr.com/sudburywolves.
