Wolves host Generals this Friday

The Eastern Conference leading Sudbury Wolves will host the Oshawa Generals this Friday Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. for the final time this season. 

This is Oshawa’s second visit of the season and the Wolves seek to repeat a winning performance when they defeated the Generals by a score of 4-3 in the 2016-17 home opener a month ago. 

The Wolves have lost their last two home games while outshooting their opponents and will be looking to get back in the win column this Friday.

The Generals are led up front by Tampa Bay Lightening prospect, Anthony Cirelli, who leads the Generals with 17 points in 9 games. On defence, the Wolves will have to look out for New York Islanders prospect Mitchell Vande Sompel and Florida Panthers prospect Riley Stillman.

Friday’s game is sponsored by Enercare who will be giving away Cozies to the first 2,000 fans. Friday is also a Halloween Spooktacular, Kids 18 and under who dress up in a Halloween Costume will receive admission to the game for only $8.

Following Friday’s game, the Wolves will visit their divisional rivals, the Barrie Colts on Saturday when they visit the Barrie Molson Centre. 

Game time Saturday is 7:30 p.m.
