The Sudbury Wolves are back in action at the Sudbury Arena this week for a trio of home games. On Wednesday the Wolves will kick off their three-game home stand against the Brampton Battalion. Game time is 7:35 p.m.

This matchup is a preview of a renewed northern rivalry as it was announced last week that the Brampton Battalion would be moving to North Bay for the 2013-2014 season. The game marks the third of eights matchups on the season with the teams tied up at one apiece.

The Wolves will play their second game Friday when they face-off against the red hot Sarnia Sting at 7:35 p.m. The Sting are on a four-game winning streak and currently sit first in the OHL’s West Division and second in the OHL’s Western Conference with a record of 12-7-0-1.

The Wolves will complete their three-game push on Sunday when they face-off against the Barrie Colts for their third of eight matchups on the season. The Wolves evened up the season series at one when they defeated the Colts 6-4 on home ice on Nov. 2.Gametime is 2:05 p.m. The Colts head into the weekend sitting first in the OHL’s Eastern Conference with an impressive 14-5-0-1 record.

Sunday is Family Day at the Sudbury Arena and all youngsters, 12 and under, who are accompanied by a parent will be admitted for $10.
