Wolves prepare for war against Mississauga

Both squads have amassed a total of 46 points so far this season.

Mississauga has a record of 18-12-9-1.

The Wolves have forged a record of 20-16-3-3.

The two teams have faced each other twice already this season. Mississauga won the first meeting 4-3 in overtime on Oct. 11.

Bobby Chaumont scored two goals to pace the Wolves' attack. Ben Pouliot scored the other goal.

The second contest between the two clubs ended in a 2-2 draw.

Jonathan D'Aversa and Rafal Martynowski scored for the Wolves.

Wolves' goalie Patrick Ehelechner has played both games against the IceDogs. He has stopped 72 of 78 shots fired his way by the IceDogs.

The IceDogs' top three scorers are Patrick O'Sullivan with 16 goals and 49 points in 32 games, Anthony Butera with 12 goals and 33 points in 39 games, and Tom Zanoski with 11 goals and 26 points in 37 games.

The Dogs also feature two veteran snipers in Dan Carcillo and John Hecimovic. Both forwards are having off years, but still remain dangerous scoring threats.

The Wolves top scorers are Ben Pouliot with 19 goals and 44 points in 41 games, Chaumont with 21 goals and 37 points in 42 games, and Rafal Martynowski with 18 goals and 37 points in 42 games.

Game time at the Sudbury Arena is 7:30 pm.
