The Sudbury Wolves have released their 2014-2015 game schedule.
A total of 19 Friday night home games are planned, in continuing the the popular Friday Night hockey tradition and pastime in Sudbury.
The Wolves home schedule will only include five games on Saturday nights this season including Military Appreciation Night on Saturday Nov. 8 vs. the Belleville Bulls and Vale Sudbury Saturday Night on Saturday, March 7 vs. the North Bay Battalion.
The Wolves will also play four Sunday afternoon games starting at 2 p.m. this season. All of our Sunday games will be Family Days with the popular $44 Family 4-Pak being offered for all four Sunday games.
This year’s home schedule also includes two Tuesday night games and four Wednesday night games. Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday games will all begin at 7 p.m.
The 34-game home schedule is well-balanced this season as it includes one home game in September, six home games in October, five home games in November, six games in December including the traditional Teddy Bear Toss pre-Christmas game, seven home games in January, five home games in February and four home games in March.
It won’t take long for the Wolves to face their northern archrivals as they will kick off the Bell FibreOp Challenge Cup on Oct. 3 when the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds visit the Nickel City. The Wolves will then host the defending Eastern Conference champion North Bay Battalion on Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Sudbury Arena.
