The Sudbury Wolves will kick off their 45th anniversary season on Friday, Sept. 23 when they host their Eastern Conference rivals, the Oshawa Generals, in their 2016-17 regular season home opener.

Game time is 7 p.m.

The Wolves’ regular season home schedule includes 20 Friday night games, five Saturday night games, eight Sunday afternoon games and one weekday game.

The year’s schedule is well balanced on a monthly basis in terms of its home and away games.

Based on fan feedback from last season, the Wolves have decided to continue to keep Friday night start times at 7 p.m.

Saturday and weekday nights will also continue to start at 7 p.m. with Sunday puck drops set for 2 p.m.

A number of exciting promotions are in store for fans this season, including annual fan favourites such as the Teddy Bear Toss and Military Appreciation night, which will fall on Remembrance Day this year.

The Wolves are also planning a number of exciting 45th anniversary promotions this season to help celebrate the franchise.

More details on these will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Sudbury Wolves reminds season ticket holders the season ticket renewal deadline is June 30.
