The Sudbury Wolves in conjunction with the Ontario Hockey League have announced the release of their regular season schedule for the 2017-18 season.
The season will kick off September 22 with a double header home opener weekend against the Oshawa Generals, Friday night at 7:05 p.m., followed by a Sunday afternoon matinee against Northern Divisional rivals, the North Bay Battalion at 2 p.m.
The Wolves will play 20 regular season Friday nights, eight Sunday afternoons, five Saturday evenings and one rare Wednesday night. The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. for Friday, Saturday and Wednesday games, while all Sunday games will begin at 2 p.m.
A number of special events are in the works for this season including a New Year’s Eve afternoon match-up with the Guelph Storm and the third annual Superhero game.
More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
This September also marks one year of a New Era of Wolves Hockey under the ownership of Dario Zulich.
Season Ticket holders who purchase their seats by June 16 will be receiving a special commemorative Season Ticket Booklet in honour of the one year anniversary.
Included in this year’s season ticket package is the Nov. 13 CIBC Canada Russia Series game.
