The Sudbury Wolves will host "Trust Your Bust Night" on Friday Dec. 30 at 7 p.m. when the Guelph Storm come to town.

This game is in support of breast cancer research.

Kimberley Wahamaa was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 47.  She is the founder of www.trustyourbust.com, a website of breast cancer survivors sharing their journey of hope.

She created a Trust Your Bust Fund (TYBF) through the Northern Cancer Foundation, for breast cancer research through Health Sciences North Research Institute.

Kimberley has presented her story to various local groups, and she is registered with Big Idea Speakers.

Her detailed PowerPoint presentation of her Journey of Hope, is now part of the curriculum at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine for first and second year learners from a patient perspective.

Now at 51, Kimberley says she can check this off her bucket list, to skate during a Wolves game in promoting her cause.

She will be sporting her Wolves Jersey with Trust Your Bust on the back.

"I just want everyone to really trust your bust," said Wahamaa.

"I found a lump while taking a shower, my cancer was stage two, had I not acted upon it, I may not be here. Early detection is key.”

On game night, Kimberley will be selling her photography, a collection of various Northern Ontario landscapes, many of the photos she took while she was getting her treatments of four chemos and 30 radiations.

You can purchase your Wolves tickets at www.sudburywolves.com.
