Wolves wrap up a busy week with Sunday matinee against IceDogs

Team wraps up two game road trip in Niagara tonight

The Sudbury Wolves will look to build on last Sunday’s win this upcoming weekend as they will take to the road for two games this week. 

The Wolves played the Erie Otters Thursday night and are in St. Catharine’s Friday night before returning home to the Sudbury Arena on Sunday afternoon to complete a home-and-home match-up with the Niagara IceDogs at 2 p.m.

The IceDogs trail the Wolves by two points in the Eastern conference standings. 

Expect a competitive match as the Wolves and the IceDogs fight for crucial points. 

The IceDogs are led by Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Christopher Paquette and defenceman Ryan Mantha who are tied for the team lead in scoring with 20 points each. 

In net, the IceDogs roster features goaltender Stephen Dhillon who is tied for third in the league in save percentage with .915.

The Sudbury Wolves will welcome back Glencore and Fraser Mine for Sunday’s afternoon match-up. 

Sunday is Family Day and kids 12 and under accompanied by an adult will receive admission to the game for only $10.

Prior to Sunday’s game, the Wolves will take to the road to visit the Erie Otters on Thursday night at 7 p.m. They will then stop in St. Catharine’s on Friday to battle the Niagara IceDogs at 7 p.m.
