Last week, nearly 50 young basketball enthusiasts from the Greater Sudbury were able to fine-tune their sports skills during the Franco Basket Camp organized by the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO).
This training opportunity, offered to children between the the ages 8 to 13 years of age, took place in the Collège Notre-Dame gymnasium.
The Franco-Basket Camp enabled participants to develop their basketball skills under the guidance of an experienced team of CSCNO coaches. The team of coaches promoted the development of basic skills, leadership and sportsmanship in a Francophone environment.
Each Franco-Basket participant received a t-shirt, as well as a progress report and a participation certificate at the conclusion of the camp.
