BY SCOTT HUNTER HADDOW [email protected] With the spring thaw going full tilt, the Sudbury Northerners football club also has the petal to the metal, gearing up for their third season of Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) action.

The Sudbury Laurentian Swim Club (SLSC) finished eighth overall at the 2005 Swim Ontario Division Two Team Championships Meet, which was held this past weekend at the Laurentian University Pool.

During the last student elections held on campus in March, the Laurentian University student body gave a strong vote of support to the proposed expansion of the physical education building.
