BY SCOTT HADDOW It's bear season and the hunt is on. The St. Benedict Bears senior boys football team won their first-ever city championship this past Friday, thumping their South End rivals, the Lo-Ellen Park Knights, 36-13.

Recently at the OUA women's soccer final four banquet, the OUA announced its all-star award winners for the 2006-07 season, with three Lady Vees being among the list of award winners.

Two of the top teams in the NOJHL will do battle Nov. 8 as the Kal Tire Sudbury Jr. Wolves take on the North Bay Skyhawks in game three of the Paul Lizotte Fuels Challenge Cup. Game time is 7:30 pm at the McCelland Arena in Copper Cliff. The Jr.
