You might be in “No Hurry”, but don’t wait too long to get your tickets to an unforgettable night as The Country Greats Tribute tour rolls into Sudbury on May 16.

Recognized as North America’s premier country music tribute show, this tour brings to life the sounds of Alabama, Garth Brooks and Zac Brown Band.

Since 2002, Zac Brown Band has been a mainstay on the airwaves with hits like Chicken Fried, Toes, and Homegrown, collecting several Grammys and CMA (Country Music Awards) along the way.

Garth Brooks, whose iconic 1990 album “No Fences” introduced audiences to his signature blend of honky-tonk swagger and soulful storytelling, has captivated fans with crossover hits like Friends in Low Places, The Thunder Rolls, and Wild Horses for nearly three decades.

And country fans are sure to recognize Alabama, with classic songs like Mountain Music and Dixieland Delight, which cemented them as one of country music’s most influential bands. They’re best known for their catchy melodies, smooth harmonies, and deep sense of Southern Pride.

Elton Lammie, an award-winning vocalist and widely heralded as one of Canada’s most energetic stage performers, will be handling duties as lead singer for the group Chicken Fried, a Zac Brown Tribute Band.

Lammie will also don his signature, wide-brimmed black Western hat for a set of Brooks hits.

Wrapping up the roster is four-piece band Mountain Music, one of the most in-demand tributes across the country, which capture the essence and feel of Alabama.

With careers spanning over 30 years, these talented performers will transport you through a string of classic hits from the artists, bringing the energy and excitement of a live country music show to life.

Beyond the music, this concert serves a great cause and raises awareness of one of Canada’s leading cancer research organizations.

The event is a fundraiser in support of the Canadian Cancer Society, an organization dedicated to saving and improving lives of those affected by cancer.
