You only have to peer in the giant windows of Diggs and Dwellings to know that you’re in for a real treat.  Soaring ceilings, full of daylight, and a 16,000 square foot showroom filled with furniture and lighting hand-selected for the store are all part of a unique experience.

In 2015, Jen Reich and Ian Worthington decided to collaborate to open a full-service furniture store unlike anything in the north. With Reich’s business expertise and Worthington’s 30-years of experience in the furniture industry, you couldn’t ask for a better partnership to serve Sudbury and surrounding areas.

“We wanted to open up a store and give something to the area that the north needs,” said Reich. “A quality furniture store with style, unique pieces and great service.”
And with a state-of-the-art sales and design centre and speciality coffee bar, Diggs and Dwellings focuses on the customer experience.

“We can execute home design from blueprints to make things easier for our clients,” said Worthington. “We have a clean, organized and easy to navigate showroom and a professional delivery team that delivers for free within the city.”

“We want to provide our customers with an experience they can’t have any other place in the north.”

Reich and Worthington are both local families who believe the north deserves the largest selection of Canadian furniture and lighting.  They have hand-selected every piece of furniture and lighting which all pass a stringent list of criteria before making into the showroom.

Diggs and Dwellings’ selections include a proud collection of Canadian furnishings from the Canadian Canadel gallery, Canadian Durham gallery to other Canadian manufacturers like Deco Rest, Statum, Brentwood, Trica, Palliser and Elran.

And their state-of-the-art showroom features all types of lighting from chandeliers, wall sconces, fans and more from well-known Canadian brands Kuzco, Matteo and Alora in addition to Hubbardton Forge and Eurofase.

Diggs and Dwellings have partnered with some Canadian manufactures to provide distinct and personalized products including Kingsdown Canada who produces five different mattress models named after local lakes Nepahwin, St Charles, Ramsay, Penage and the Long Lake.

Reich and Worthington also curate a selection of design-forward international brands each year from the International Home Furnishing Market including pieces from Ekorness, Stressless and Four Hands.

Their Ekorness Gallery is all about engineering, spine alignment and the utmost of comfort where staff is trained to personally fit a chair or sofa to your body and comfort level.

Proudly located at 1326 The Kingsway, Diggs and Dwellings support Canadian products while providing quality customer service.
