Two incredible tribute acts are headlining Sudbury’s Northern Arts Festival in 2025.
Sudbury Performance Group’s annual winter arts festival, held this year from February 17 to 23, is always full of amazing free performances by talented local musicians, and this 6th year is no exception. Over 100 incredible musicians will be performing in 16 venues throughout Sudbury and area during Northern Arts Festival 2025.
Headlining this year’s festival are Reckless: the Ultimate Tribute to Bryan Adams (Friday), and the AC/DC Show Canada (Saturday).
“We are absolutely thrilled to have these talented artists as our ticketed feature acts during the Northern Arts Festival,” said Sudbury Performance Group (SPG) President, Mark Mannisto. “These Canadian acts are going to deliver two unforgettable nights of live music celebrating rock legends!”
Mannisto went on to describe what Friday night is going to look and feel like: “With hits like “Summer of ’69,” “Heaven,” and “Run to You,” Reckless’ high-energy performance captures the passion and timeless sound of one of rock’s most beloved artists.”
He added, “Joining in on the stage Friday night are Sudbury’s award-winning country stars Chad Rivette and Natalie Crispo. As rising talents in the Canadian and international music scenes, their performances will add a unique country-rock flavor to an already incredible night of entertainment!”
But that’s not all.
Mannisto elaborated, “Prepare for an adrenaline-fueled night as AC/DC Canada takes over the stage on Saturday, February 22. Known for their high-voltage performances and spot-on re-creation of the legendary Australian rockers, AC/DC Canada delivers the raw energy, iconic sound, and explosive stage presence that fans crave. From the thunderous riffs of “Back in Black” to the anthemic power of “Highway to Hell,” this show promises an unforgettable rock experience.”
He completed, “Sudbury’s own hard rock sensation, Restored, will open the night, setting the stage for a headbanging evening filled with classic rock hits!”
Both bands are set to play at the Coulson Entertainment Centre, with Reckless playing Friday February 21 and AC/DC Canada playing Saturday February 22. Doors open at 7 p.m. and openers start at 7:30 p.m.
General admission tickets for each show are $30 online now, and $35 at the door the night of the show. Tickets can be purchased here.
Mannisto finished, “Come out and enjoy live music all week long. There are tons of free entertainment throughout the week, capped off with two incredible nights of killer music from AC/DC and Bryan Adams tribute bands! What a great way to beat the winter blahs!”
