Mowr’s energetic team of lawn and garden experts helps Sudbury area property owners maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. Mowing, maintenance and planting are handled in a professional, reliable manner by teams passionate about what they do.

Mowr is now expanding its Sudbury team of grass cutting technicians and qualified applicants can expect a lot more than a grass-cutting job. Mowr provides excellent pay, the potential for year-round work, and opportunities for advancement.

“We’re looking for individuals who want to be part of our team and our continued growth, and we provide much more than just a job for anyone interested in growing a career with us,” General Manager Mitch Gammon explains.  “We have several team members that started as grass cutters and are now running crews, loving what they do and earning good money doing it. Strong performers who want to work with us year-round have great opportunities to do so.”

Mowr is part of a group of companies with employment opportunities across all of its businesses and locations.

In addition to Mowr in Sudbury, there are opportunities with its sister companies including Weed Man franchises in Sudbury, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie and Regina. They don’t stop in the winter either; the group of companies also includes Northern Ontario’s largest residential snow removal business, Snow Squad, providing residential and commercial snow removal right here in Sudbury.

Now is the chance to join Mowr as a grass cutting technician, helping to keep lawns trimmed and maintained in and around Sudbury. Experience is not required as training is provided to ensure our high standards for quality are met and that our employees return home safely at the end of each day.

High school education and a valid driver's license are preferred. A background check and clean driver abstract are required. Applicants should also enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and be able to assist with equipment maintenance and repairs under the supervision of the shop foreman. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical labour. Successful applicants must also respect their team members and the provided equipment.

Those hired will enjoy competitive wages, have the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses, and pursue year-round work opportunities. The position includes day, evening, and weekend work.
