Spark Employment Services Launches New “Feed Your Hunger for Work” Luncheons

Helping People Seek Employment While Connecting with Expert Staff

For over 30 years, Sudbury-based Spark Employment Services (Spark) has been helping jobseekers find employment through its various educational and workplace training programs. Through engaged, supported job search opportunities, clients can explore potential careers while accessing upskilling and retraining programs.

Spark continues to find new and innovative ways to engage jobseekers. With COVID-19 cases on the decline and vaccination rates going up, many people are looking to reincorporate daily activities into their lives. Going back to work is one of them!

New this summer! Spark aims to raise awareness of its free programs and services in order to connect jobseekers with available employment opportunities. Spark is pleased to announce the launch of their new Feed Your Hunger for Work Luncheons.

Luncheons will be held every Friday in the month of August from 12 to 1 p.m. outside of Spark’s office located at 435 Notre Dame Avenue in Sudbury, Ontario.

This initiative will bring people seeking employment together in a safe way to enjoy a meal and connect with Spark’s expert staff. Individuals who attend will be offered a free meal and given the opportunity to take the first step toward securing employment following the global pandemic.

“Our goal is to inspire our community to reconnect, enjoy a meal, and engage with our skilled Employment Specialists,” says Chantal Makela, Chief Executive Officer of Spark Employment Services. “We invite the public, including our past clients and potential future clients, to celebrate the reopening of our community with us and explore the possibilities for their future.”

The Feed Your Hunger for Work Luncheons are expected to be well-attended and Spark staff looks forward to working with and meeting new people!
