The money you spend on your college education is an important investment in yourself and your future, and Cambrian College offers various financial aid supports that can help you cover the cost of your education so that you can keep focused on kick-starting your career.
You can get all of your questions answered at Cambrian’s Spring Open House on April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Financial aid info sessions will be hosted by OSAP and awards experts who will help guide you towards an affordable and achievable top-quality college education.
Here is a preview of some of the financial aid options you can explore:
Awards, bursaries, and scholarships available before the first day of class:
Joyce Foundation Access Bursary – If you’re 20 years of age or younger and are planning to study full-time, you could receive a $3,000 bursary prior to the start of your classes that is renewable for up to three years.
Cash for College – You could receive $500 to cover your term deposit. You can apply for this bursary as soon as you’ve applied to a Cambrian program.
Early Entry Scholarship – Confirm your acceptance to a fall 2019 Cambrian program by May 1, 2019, and you’ll automatically be entered to win a $2,500 scholarship.
Additional Entrance Awards – Each year, Cambrian awards $50,000 in entrance scholarships based on academic achievement, along with $100,000 in entrance bursaries based on financial need.

Bytown or The 6?
If you or anyone you know lives in the GTA or Ottawa and is planning to attend the Spring Open House, reserve a seat on our coach bus. You can sit back, relax, and let Cambrian drive you to and from the Spring Open House – for free!
Study North Travel Rebate
You could receive $250 back on your travel expenses from Study North. The travel rebate is available until May 1, 2019, while supplies last. Apply online for the rebate.
Support while studying
In-school awards – More than $600,000 in awards is given out to 800 current students annually at Cambrian. Search our awards online.
On-campus job opportunities – Cambrian hires students year-round for a variety of positions around the College that help to pay the bills while giving you valuable experience in your field of study.
