Sudbury Performance Group (SPG) is running a raffle! And you are invited to buy tickets and win!

“We are very excited to launch our Ultimate 50/50 draw!” announced SPG President Mark Mannisto. “Tickets are on sale now and the draw date is June 25. We  are already at over $2000!”

Mannisto explained that the monies from the raffle will be used to go directly toward creating paid opportunities for local musicians and to help grow Sudbury Performance Group's Jr. company allowing for more performance opportunities for youngsters right here in Sudbury. He added, “Every ticket bought helps bring more music, theatre, and live entertainment to life — all while supporting the incredible talent in our own backyard!”

Sudbury Performance Group was founded in 2017. Its mandate is the advancement of the public’s appreciation of the arts by providing live performances which focus on music, theatre, and comedy. Mannisto explained, “SPG’s volunteer board of directors has come together to foster and promote local talent within the cultural sector. We plan to further develop local artists, by allowing them an avenue to create performances across Greater Sudbury and the North.”

SPG offers a wide range of activities each year. The organization hosts a popular dinner theatre series, main stage musical theatre performances, junior theatre performances, weekly free community concerts, two major music festivals (Northern Arts Festival and Her Northern Voice), as well as a comedy series.

Mannisto is enthusiastic about the possibilities of the Ultimate 50/50 Draw. “It’s definitely a win/win! The draw winner wins half the money, and SPG gets to take its half of the money and help so many performers, including youth performers, in our community! We are excited about the potential of this 50/50 draw.”

Tickets for SPG’s Ultimate 50/50 Draw are: 150 for $50, 70 for $40, 30 for $20, or 10 for $10 and are available here. But hurry, ticket deadline is June 25!
