Clouds give way to a sunny Saturday

Frosty start to the weekend, with a daytime windchill of -32 C
winter path
Saturday brings a mix of sun and clouds, with a daytime high of - 21 C and overnight low of -30 C (File).

Overcast weather in the morning expected to give way to sunny skies by the late afternoon.

Early in the afternoon, gusting northeast winds of up to 20 km/h will rise to 40 km/h.

As a result, the daytime high of -21 C will have a wind chill of -39 C in the morning and -32 C by the afternoon.

A few clouds will move into view overnight, as winds calm to 15 km/h.

The overnight low of -30 C will produce an evening wind chill of -32 C and an overnight wind chill of -41 C.

Extremely low temperatures such as these introduce a risk of frostbite.
