Aastha is a reporter at 570 NEWS. She joined the team in June 2018 after graduating from the journalism program at the University of Guelph-Humber. During her time at Guelph-Humber, she won several awards of distinction for her journalism work and for being in the top 10 per cent of her graduating class. Aastha was born in the United Arab Emirates and lived there until she was 16 years old. She is now a proud Canadian, based in Kitchener, doing what she has always wanted to do - journalism.
