Phi Doan

Phi Doan

Not born, but definitely raised in Kitchener; Phi is a proud graduate of the Conestoga College Broadcast Radio program. During his time at Conestoga he did a little of everything at the on-campus radio station: 88.3 CJIQ. From announcing; to writing and producing radio imaging and features; to even doing a little programming on the online station, Phi fell in love with the radio medium. He went on to win awards for Creative Imaging and Creative Commercial Writing and Producing. It was at the advice of his teacher that he apply for a news position. He graduated in April 2018 and soon after joined the 570 NEWS team as a reporter. Phi is a huge film fan and has an eclectic taste. He's currently in the gradual process of turning his car into a library.
