A woman who swings a nasty bat struck out when the cops arrived.
She now faces assault charges.
On Saturday a 911 call came in reporting an assault.
Police say it was a domestic dispute. The woman confronted the man at his place of work on Lakeshore Drive. It turned violent when she swung a baseball bat at him.
The man was not injured.
Police seized an 18” mini baseball bat from the scene as evidence.
North Bay Police arrested and charged a 31-year old Temiscaming woman with one count of assault with a weapon.
She was released from custody with a court date scheduled for May 9th.
