A brave homeowner stood up to a trio of thieves this week.
Almaguin Highlands OPP investigated a break and enter that occurred on Wednesday, June 28, at approximately 4 a.m. near Emsdale.
Three unknown men entered a Homeland Drive residence but fled after being confronted by the homeowner.
The suspects are described as being between 20-30 years of age and wearing dark clothing with a mask covering their faces.
OPP believe this was a targeted incident.
