A man was found deceased Sunday in Lake Memesagamesing in Harding Township, near Restoule.
The OPP were called to the scene just after 3 p.m. that day.
A neighbor had located a pontoon boat floating along the shoreline and was returning it to shore when he found a man in the water with vital signs absent.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as Gene Hearrell, 69, of Ohio.
A post-mortem examination is expected to be completed to determine the exact cause of death.
