OPP officers say they were called to help a man who was sleeping in his vehicle

Here's a tip...don't drink and sleep in your car.

On Thursday May 18, at approximately 5:20 p.m. Almaguin Highlands OPP officers say they were called to help a man who was sleeping in his vehicle on Montreal Street in South River. 

They investigated, arrested, and charged a 28-year-old South River man with the following offences:

  • Care or control while ability impaired,
  • Care or control over 80 milligrams, 
  • Two counts of Driving while under suspension,

Vaillencourt was released from police custody and will appear in court on Thursday June 8 in Sundridge.
