More details have been revealed relating to Monday’s fatal collision in Mattawa.

Members of the Mattawa Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of a collision involving two vehicles on Highway (HWY) 17 near HWY 630 in Calvin Township.
Preliminary information is that an eastbound SUV collided with a westbound pickup truck.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver of the pickup truck sustained no injuries.
The deceased driver of the SUV was identified as Mirjana Knezevic 64, of Algonquin Highlands Township.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators assisted with the investigation along with the OPP Unmanned Aerial System (UAS).
HWY 17 was closed for six hours while the investigation was conducted.
