Police locate body on Hearst river

An investigation is underway after a body was found on a Hearst river.

According to OPP on Twitter, June 4 the James Bay detachment located a body on the Mattawawishkwia River, which runs through the Northern Ontario community. It was found near Alary Drive, north of Highway 11.

 

The deceased has yet to be identified. A post-mortem will take place next week in Sudbury.
