The Ford government has open a month-long series of consultations on how children and youth with autism can be better supported.

You can participate either by filling out an online survey, or through a telephone townhall.

The province wants to hear your opinions on several things including:

  • recommendations for the Ontario Autism Program
  • how families would use any additional funding based on need
  • the role the education system should play in supporting students with autism to achieve their learning goals
  • how health and social supports for children with autism can be better integrated

You can find more information about the consultations here.
