The Ford government has open a month-long series of consultations on how children and youth with autism can be better supported.
You can participate either by filling out an online survey, or through a telephone townhall.
The province wants to hear your opinions on several things including:
- recommendations for the Ontario Autism Program
- how families would use any additional funding based on need
- the role the education system should play in supporting students with autism to achieve their learning goals
- how health and social supports for children with autism can be better integrated
