Police have confirmed that remains found just south of Trout Creek were those of a missing Markham man, Eugene Kim.
On March 1, at approximately 3:22 p.m., officers from the Almaguin Highlands Detachment of the OPP responded to a call of an abandoned passenger vehicle in Laurier Township.
Police found human remains within the vehicle which was registered to Eugene Kim, who was reported missing in October 2017.
A post mortem examination was conducted today by the Office of the Chief Coroner and the deceased has been identified as Eugene Kim. Foul play is not suspected in this death.

Kim was 38 years old, married with two children, a boy, six, and a girl, two.
