Sault firefighters free occupants of flipped SUV (7 photos)

One person was taken to hospital

A passenger vehicle was left upside down in a ditch after a collision in freezing rain conditions at Second Line West and Deans Road in Prince Township Tuesday morning.

On-scene responders reported that more than one person was in the vehicle; one person was taken to the hospital with injuries of an undisclosed nature.

Responders used hydraulic rescue tools — the Jaws of Life — during the rescue.

Prince Township Fire, Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services, Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, and paramedics attended the scene.
