Sudden death being investigated in Big Grassy River First Nation

BIG GRASSY RIVER FIRST NATION, Ont. -- Police are investigating a sudden death after a woman's body was found in the Northwestern Ontario community. 

According to an OPP release, the body was found behind an outdoor skating rink on Beach Road just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The body has not yet been identified.

The community is about 125 kilometres northwest of Fort Frances.

The Ontario Provincial Police Criminal Investigation Branch are investigating the circumstances surrounding this death, with assistance from Treaty Three Police Service and OPP North West Region Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services.
