SooToday cameras were aboard the Lake Superior Watershed Conservancy's Canoes for Conservation tour Thursday morning.

The 36-foot vessel, which holds up to 14 people, is used for a variety of tours in the area, and provides a new perspective of the community. Their goals is to link visitors to the past by telling all of the stories of the canoe as it relates to the land—the forest materials and the traditional canoe building skills of our local peoples.
