When you are outbid, the hold is released. If you bid $50 on ten different items, this means $500 of your available balance will be unavailable until you're outbid. Any winning bids at the end of the auction are captured - meaning your card is charged. We recommend you use a credit card, not a debit card for this auction. A released hold may take several days to reflect on your statement.
After the auction closes, it will take us a few days to process the results. If you have won an item or purchased an item with 'Buy Now', within 2-3 days of the auction closing you will receive an email from our team with detailed instructions regarding how you may pick up your items. OUR HISTORY
Ethier Sand & Gravel Limited has been in the aggregate industry serving Sudbury, Ontario and area for over 70 years. Mr. Alfa Ethier founder of Ethier Sand & Gravel Limited opened the company’s first source of aggregate from a gravel pit located behind our main office at 2589 Ida Street in Sudbury.
The company consisted of one truck, several good shovels and strong backs. As modern mechanization approached, the company grew with it.
Ethier Sand & Gravel Limited was incorporated in 1968 and at that time began to grow rapidly with the industry. New gravel deposits were found, land purchased and quarry permits were established to ensure sufficient future supply.
