You can get out on the water and cast a line for free starting today.

Ontario's annual Family Fishing Week has been extended to two weeks this year. It runs from July 4 to July 19.

Even though you don't need a licence to drop a line, there are still some rules to follow.

Anglers must follow conservation licence catch limits, obey size limits and sanctuatries and follow the fishing regulations.
