Terror Train 6077 will be rolling into Capreol this weekend and it's delivering a whole new freight of frights.

This year's theme is "Twisted Tales."

"These aren't the stories you read as a child," Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre operations manager Cody Cacciotti said.

"We have stuff that reflects the Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears ... a whole bunch of fairy tales that you're going to encounter at the haunt this year."

The Terror Train is located at the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre at 26 Bloor St. in Capreol.

The haunt is open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday right up to the end of October with a special Devil's Night viewing on Oct. 30.

Gates open at 7 p.m. and the first group is admitted in to the haunt right after sun set.

Tickets are $12 per person. Proceeds go to the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum.

An age limited has not been set, however, children under 12-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.

"We leave it open to the parents discretion," Cacciotti said. "We've had 5-, 6- and 7-year-olds who go through and love it, but we've had instances where adults are not able to finish it."

Cacciotti also suggests to visit the haunt early in the season to avoid long lines and make sure to dress according to the weather.
