Still time to sign up for May 29 health and safety conference

For the first time in more than a decade, the Sudbury Regional Labour Management Health and Safety Committee (SRLMHSC) will host a Health and Safety Conference at the Steelworkers Hall, 66 Brady Street, on May 29. 

“The Labour Management Committee is proud to bring back a fun educational experience,” the committee said in a release. 

The full-day event will cover such topics as:

  • Mental Health at Work
  • Struck-by investigation and Blind Spots (480 Excavator will be on hand for demonstration)
  • SRL-LE (Self Retracting Lanyard – Leading Edge)
  • EWP Proper fall Protection
  • 50/50 draw (All money raised go to Steps for Life and Buzzzy Bea’s)

All proceeds will pay for the event with any remaining funds will be donated to Steps for Life and Bizzzy Bea’s.
