As a business owner I was upset to read the
article, Chamber shut out of budget process. The Greater
Sudbury Chamber of Commerce represents the main engine driving
the local economy. Without our local businesses all other
initiatives will fail. Yet council doesn't see the importance
of listening to those who understand how to run an efficient
operation.
I would suggest such a meeting should take
place at least once a year to gain input from our business
leaders in various aspects of running our city from operations
to the effect our infrastructure has on our local
businesses.
