As a resident of Ward 3 I believe that a
recount is warranted. Greater Sudbury should be responsible for
the cost of a recount cost because candidate John Robert was
denied a fair hearing (at council). If a recount would have
been granted by council, they would have saved the taxpayers
thousands of dollars. Now that it is before the courts, the
city has had to hire a lawyer and the cost will probably
double.
