I'm happy to see Mayor Jim Gordon is
retiring.
He has done a lot for our community over the
years.
I feel that a few other members of council
should consider doing the same (retiring).
We have passed up opportunity time and again
to change age old bylaws (such as businesses not being allowed
to stay open past 9 pm).
This coming election we need to consider the
future needs of our community.
Why is it that most members of the current
city council are not pushing to have these inept and outdated
bylaws changed to improve the local economy and jobless rate?
We need to consider fresh faces this coming fall.
We have the power through voting to improve
these areas of concern, consider using it.
