It was with more than average interest I read
the article about the owner of Nick's Pier retiring.
(April 16 edition). Nick Lagges has done much
more for Sudbury than just being a business man. He gave up his
country, social life and family life to serve an excellent
product that made many people happy.
Because of his pleasant personality he was
well liked by his customers, staff and other
restaurateurs.
And all this for 50 years. I congratulate
Nick and his wife, wishing them many healthy years of
retirement. And I salute the Northern Life for giving credit
where credit is due.
