Inco owes city, employees - Sirio Bacciaglia

As a shareholder of Inco and a retired employee, I am opposed to the closing of the Copper Cliff copper refinery. Inco challenged refinery workers to reduce costs. They did. Now Inco should continue to operate the refinery.

As I have said at Inco annual meetings in Toronto, the Sudbury operation is the jewel of the Inco empire.

The Sudbury operation paid for Inco operations worldwide.

Inco owes it to the City of Greater Sudbury and all its employees to maintain the copper refinery and all the rest of the Sudbury operation to its fullest.
