On Saturday, May 31, at approximately 9:30
am, on my way to Chelmsford from Sudbury, I was followed too
closely by a single male motorist, who looked to be in his late
20s.
He drove a light blue, four door, mid-sized
car.
As I proceeded to turn right, he cut me off,
hit the roadside curb, and I went into a slide on my
motorcycle.
The motorist kept his route and the three
vehicles following looked on, but no one stopped to help
me.
I suffered multiple road rash, a knee injury
and the right side of my motorcycle had extensive damage.
After removing the 300-pound motorcycle off
me, I proceeded to find assistance. Luckily, the accident
occurred in front of the Chelmsford emergency department. I
wish to thank Paul Marier and Rick Sasseville of the Sudbury
Emergency Medical Services.
If by chance you were present at the scene
and have some information regarding the accident, phone the
Sudbury OPP at 564-6900, incident #NP03027089. Your call would
be deeply appreciated.
