Letter: All noise, no substance from candidates

Many promises are being made from all parties, without any substance. It certainly would be a change if a candidate would offer a plan and explain how they are going to achieve their platform if elected. We simply cannot continue raising taxes.

We simply cannot continue raising taxes. Speaking as a retiree, I hoped I could live comfortably after leaving the workforce, but every day it is becoming a greater concern.

The biggest hurdle we face is the high cost of energy. There is no doubt high fuel and energy costs stall the economy. In Ontario, we are very familiar with this situation.

Most Canadians have lost faith in our elected leaders. When a candidate comes knocking on your door for support, ask them the tough questions and tell them how you truly feel.
